Job Title: General Kitchen Assistant for 2018-19 School Year
Salary: $9.25 per hour for a 7.0 hour day.
$9.50 per hour after 6 mo probationary period.
Closing Date: July 27, 2018
General description:
To ensure an efficient food service operation. Have knowledge of kitchen. To provide a safe, attractive, comfortable and clean environment to ensure full and productive use of district facilities. Ensure that all activities conform to district guidelines. Assist in all kitchen areas. Clean and set up lunchroom tables. Fill coolers, assist with cooking and washing dishes. Communicate effectively with members of the school district, OPI, and community; be courteous to members of the community, other employees and students. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Appropriately operate all equipment and machinery as required. Support the philosophy and mission of Cascade School District. Maintain a positive working relationship with administration, faculty, students, and other staff members.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include: High School diploma or GED, clear fingerprint background check, clear pre-employment physical; must be able to stand for extended shifts and lift 50lbs.
