Dear Parents/Guardians,

The 3rd-8th graders will begin their SBAC tests tomorrow, April 20th. The SBAC tests are our state mandated summative assessments which are used to rate our school's performance and to identify areas of excellence and improvement from the individual student level to school and statewide. The tests are given in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics. The 5th and 8th graders will also take a science assessment. In order to help your child do their best, please encourage them to get an adequate amount of sleep the night before testing and encourage them to eat a nutritious breakfast either at home or at school. Starting the day out well rested and with the proper nutrition will help improve their cognitive abilities. We can't wait to see the results of all of their hard work!
